Dave Ramsey Would Be Proud

We are working on Dave Ramsey's system for personal finances. While the progress is slow, we are moving in the right direction and God is blessing. One main component of Dave Ramsey's system is pretty simple...pay cash. Today was Mercer, PA's annual city wide garage sale and we went on a hunt for a few items.
Here is what we found...
*A ton of girls clothes for next to nothing.
*A DVD player with two screens for the Blazer and the long trips to AR. ($10)
*A Weslo Cardio Walk manual treadmill in mint condition. ($10)
*"Born Again" A book detailing Chuck Colson's coversion story. ($.50)
*Bridgestone MB-6 Mountain bike for me. ($10)
*Thayer's Greek Lexicon. ($.50)

There is nothing like the satisfaction of buying what you can afford and being happy with it.
"Godliness with contentment is great gain."

LifeChurch has three of Dave Ramsey's "sermons" uploaded to their site. I encourage you to check out what he has to say about personal finances.

Now on to kicking our debt out the door!
